2010-2011 Sophomore Year

     So this year has been fun. The people I know have made this school year memorable.
1st Period- Me and Andy have our 1st period Shananigans
2nd Period- Steven, Kyle, and Serena giggle in the back of the lab all day.
3rd Period- Cutting Meghan's trombone to pieces with my scissors, then I get slapped Lol.
4th Period- Rock paper Scissors with Meg, Piano, eating, starving, and messing around.
5th Period (Health)- Serena and me making fun of Coach James being bald, and Kyle making fun of his mom. (His mom is a priest, Kyle's going to hell Lol)
5th Period (Technical Foundations)- BORING
6th Period (Spanish)- Paper ball Fight!
7th Period- Annoy Mrs. Wright, make unnessecary noises, get yelled at by Lauren, talk about my mom, got Mcdonald's from Marissa's mom, procrastination, UNO, become awesomer.
8th Period- Make fun of Stephanie, help out Cooke with the Chem, fail at helping people, and have 5 blond moments a day.

Stories

End of the Day- Gaming ALL DAY, (So I joined Kyle's party Sunday, and I hear him and Sam laughing their arses off. They're playing Grand Theft Auto 4. I ask them what the hell they're doing. Well..

Kyle: Hey Phanha! Is it gay when two guys ride on a pink moped together listening to Jazz?!!

Phanha: What?! YEA! Hahahahahahaha.

Sam: It's not gay okay! It's bromance.

Kyle: It's only gay if you think it's gay.

**A few weeks before this**
Steven and I punked Kyle

(So me and Steven are just in a party talking about regular stuff, games and other things, nothing bad. Then Kyle joins in the party and I act like I'm in the middle of a serious conversation and Punk him)

Phanha: So Steven what are you doing today?

Phanha: I told her I didn't want to do it but she tempted me sooo much. Then we did it last night.
Kyle: WHHAAATT??!!?
Steven: Oh Kyles in here
Phanha: You weren't supposed to hear that !

The Argument+Monkeys

Kyle's Side- He didn't make fun of Lauren's hair until she tried to make fun of him with the weasel. The weasel in my opinion was not offensive at all. Now Kyle has decided to become the bigger man and post a sorry, because he respects his friends. LOL good job Kyle.

Lauren's Side- She wanted to cut her hair just because she was lazy and thought of herself as a better person for doing this. She knew she was going to be made fun of and started attacking Kyle and no one else. (Kinda but not getting into that) Lauren believes Kyle needs to be embarrassed somehow because of how he makes fun of her all the time.

My Side- Lauren's turn to apologize in some way shape or form and we can all move on and not care about this anymore. Edit 1: (Lauren just brought me into this after she slapped me, she will now lose this war! Because she can't be a the bigger man and suck her pride up and apologize back!!!!! I'll probably be slapped after posting this) EDIT 2: I'm alone now because she apologized. Now it's over. NOW ONTO MY REAL POST

OMG Serena's goanimate is crazy. She has like 14 people in a scene and it's so hard to tell which character does what. She says the monkeys are the soldiers and blah blah, you just have to see it/ It's the funniest thing ever.

     Today is Sunday! Whooo yaaay.... Ughhh well I almost forgot to post a blogger until I remembered I didn't start it in class. What to talk about today? Life? Games? Music? Being Lazy? Or all of the above? CHECK!

Life-Confused and don't know where I stand with certain people. Won't get into it. Trying to visit my new niece Naila Chear born last week. Searching for colleges, almost end of the year, marching band tomorrow, driving school in the summer and more things planned. NEXT->

Games-Gears 3 Beta is down to the last week, so I'm thinking about getting FF-XIII for a fun story mode and play some more COD. Maybe I'll get GTA4 just to mess around with the cheats and fly in a helicopter. Heh helicopters, crashing.

Music- Searching for new music now to update Ipod. Been listening to the Lazy Song because thats how I feel. Also listened to Written in the Stars.

Being Lazy- List of things I'm saving up for, New Xbox 360 Slim, Ipad 2, Dazzle HD, New Controllers, HD Camera, a really good microphone, headphones for music ONLY, and a big sword.

     Lol at the title, I love my hammer of digging. Just been playing the Gears 3 Beta a little too much.
    
      ANYWAYS, I'm posting this blog a little late, just later in the day, but this is about what I'm thinking my plan for college is. In the next summer, I'll focus more on my secondary instruments and get them up to par with my trombone in the next few years (piano and just messing with drum set) because when I go to college, my plan so far seems like I hate hospitals, and being a lawyer seems boring to me and a waste of the one life I have (IMO) it's okay if you like those jobs, I don't.  I'll probably end up majoring in music, and minoring in business. Hmm I also want to practice more foreign languages, mostly just get better at Spanish, Khmer (Cambodian), then start more on Korean and Japanese just because I love the languages, music, and culture. I know I have a lifetime to do this but in the next 4-5 years, this is what I want to accomplish.
     I don't know about what college I would like to go to now.  I need to do more research. Hopefully OSU would fulfill it but probably not.  I want to just love what I do with my job, and I think that writing and playing music for mine and other's enjoyment would be great.

Supahpowah! and Gears 3

     If you could have one superpower, which one would you choose?  Psychic powers, flying, super strength, or the power to make children cry?  Personally, I would choose the power to fly super fast. Then I would be able to have fun all the time when I want to go somewhere.  I would always fly low to avoid planes, and birds.  Then if I need extra money, people would pay me to get a chance to fly in the sky.  I would always do it to have fun.  But I would avoid the police because they would try to exploit my power to make their jobs easier, then I would be nothing but a tool. 
     I can't wait for the beta to come out in a few weeks. I have to wait a few days to get the beta b/c I didn't buy the Bulletstorm Epic Edition.  I will pre-order Gears of War 3 to get the Beta code.  Gears 3 is set 18 months after the sinking of the Jacinto. The COG are more stranded now.  It's not a country anymore, it's more like a small group.  After the lambent took out the Imulsion Rig the COG didn't know what to do. OMG I want to see the story mode now!

    
    

Source Code

     Today a new movie called Source Code was released.  And it's getting pretty good ratings and seems like a movie I would like to see.
     Source Code is about a soldier, Captain Colter Stevens finding himself in the body of a stranger on a Chicago commuter train until it explodes. He is a guniea pig in a governmental experiment called the Source Code.  The Source Code allows Stevens to relive the last 8 minutes of someone's life.  Stevens is guided by Colleen Goodwin (appears to be commanding officer) everytime he goes into the Source Code.  Stevens has to figure out which one of the passengers bombed the train before another train is bombed.  Multiple times he will go into the same body of a teacher to figure out the bomber.
     I think this movie sounds interesting.  It's different from the other Sci-Fi movies about Robot Alien Cars exploding each other for 2 hours. So I think later this spring break I'll try to go see this movie, just because it's peaked my interest.

The Story of the Lost Boys

     Many of the lost boys died traveling from place to place trying to survive the elements. They were kicked out of their town and forced to flee because soon the government planned to kill them. While on the run some boys would lose the will to walk or go on. This is a sad sight when kids are forced to run for their lives. The most interesting part of the story, in my opinion is when the lost boys had to cross the river. Some kids didn't know how to swim so the ones that did could only help 1 person cross. There was a mention that crocodiles infested the lake and were ready to kill if you looked them in the eyes.
     Those lost boys that were rescued and brought to the US as refugees are living a better life now. Some of them looked for further education to prosper in life. In the video, some of them have learned pretty good English. This whole story reminded me of my mom's stories of her running from the Khmer Rouge when she was younger. Where she and our family would be on the run trying to survive. Some people were put into Concentration Camps and forced to do whatever Pol Pot told them to do. But my family found a way to make it to the UN and then were sent to America as refugees.

Growing Up too Fast

     So last weekend I was at Dom's B-day party, And it made me think how fast we all grew up. I remember how we were all little kids with no care in the world except who would win at hide and go seek in the dark. My cousins and I have known each other and been close for as long as I can remember. Chris and Linda are my age, we're all sophomores. Dom is the youngest, just became 15 but taller than all of us. Rado's the oldest and shortest XD. We always make fun of each other for something, Rado for being short, Linda for her K-Pop obsession, Dom's the tall boy who took 2 years to grow his eyebrows back, and Chris is fat and the funniest guy ever. I'm just the smart kid in the family.
     Now We're all growing up. In 2-3 years I probably won't see them as much. I plan to go off to college. Last weekend was the first time we all were together for the past year. I'll miss these days the most. When we all just hang out and throw cake at the birthday boy and give him his punches. I still owe Dom 14 eheheh. Since this is a vague topic I just wanted to post I'll just finish it up with some stuff.

I put in new batteries, turn on the controller… Nothing! What’s happening? Why are they all dead?

I watch the screen in horror to see Steven creep up on me, and BAM. I’m dead.

Damn you  Steven! I feel frustrated, inpatient and cheated! But Steven doesn’t hear me, because my controller is dead. Why? No batteries..

I lob my controller at the ground, turn off the television and RAGE quit. EhEheh, a short little story because I was bored.

HADOUKEN!!

     Ahhh, Blog time again! Hello reader, how's your day? So it's scheduling week again. So far I signed up for AP English III, News Broadcast, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry II, AP European History, US Gov, Psychology, Band, and Jazz band. I want to learn how to edit in news broadcasting. The rest of the classes are regular classes I would take every year except Psychology. I think Phychology will be an interesting class. Pshhh I'm sooo cold while I type this.

DIFFERENT SUBJECT

     Who's ready for the warmer weather?!! I love the warm weather. If I had a choice of either living here OR living somewhere else warm, I would live in the warmer place. Either Florida or some other warm place. I would love waking up to warm weather every day.


GAMING SECTION

     OMG, Homefront is coming out next week. I'm gonna see if I can get it or not. It's a game about a war on American soil. Or I'm gonna save up money for a Haupaugge HD PVR to record gameplay.

    

Mubarak Resigns

     The people of Egypt have protested for a little over 2 weeks for the resignation of their ex-President Mubarak. I think we should take a while to acknowledge the Egyptian people because overthrowing a government is a very big accomplishment. With the whole movement being broadcasted worldwide, the whole world followed the events of Egypt. Which is also a reason it lasted only over 2 weeks.
     A few days into the protests the Egypt government turned off the internet. This was amazing because this is the first time a whole country just turned off the internet. This stopped some of the information flow of what was happening. This is the first time in history the internet was turned off. This could not happen in America because our internet providers are greedy and the government doesn't have the right to tell every internet provider to stop or turn off their internet.
     Go Egypt! They are awesome. RIP to those who died during the protests.

     Were YOU ever chased by fat people? I was, on Gears of War 2. I would turn the corner and hear either Chris or Kyle screaming, then I see a few fat people chasing them. They die and then the fat people chase me.(Phanha)  "Oh God Kyle! I told you to take down big fat deliciousness but noooooo. You had to go terrorist suicide again!" Gears of War

     So I've got a new game I've been playing. Gears of War by Epic games. And Gears of War 2. The story mode in both games is very interesting. It's also one of the best story modes I have seen in a long time. Basically the human race is on the vurge of extinction, an humanity is making their last stand against the locust horde.
     Usually I'll play online on this game with friends. Horde Mode is where you and up to 4 other friends fight against waves of locust. You will start out with small locusts and as the number of the waves increase, so will the power of the locusts and the different type of locusts we encounter. As the rounds increase you will face Boomers, Flame Boomers, Grinders, Tickers, Maulers, Drones, Elite Gredeneir, Sires, Wretches, etc.
The variety in the different locusts make the game interesting. So does making the difficulty on the highest, Insane. There are up to 50 waves, and so far we could only get to wave 10.

     I love this game because of the online experience. Where you and your friends are getting mauled down and exterminated my hundreds of locusts.You should jump in and play too. Can't wait for Gears of War 3 to come out later this year.

Darkness!!

     What is your favorite genre of music? Rock, Hiphop, Rap, Country, Popitty pop pop, R&B, or something else? Do you only listen to mainstream music? Can you make music by playing instruments? Do you listen to music only in English?
      Music is one of the best things we have. Imagine a world without music. I would probably kill myself if I didn't have any music. It's somthing the whole world knows. It's everywhere, when you walk into a store there is background music. In a movie at the beginning, there is intro music. If you sing or hum it's music. Most of the times we don't realize that music is around us. It's something we all take for granted.
     Usually while I'm playing a shooting game killing noobs, I would sing to some mainstream pop song or some korean song. It makes the killing so much more fun. (Not in real life. That's just mean.) Even when I'm quickscoping I sing. Everyone makes fun of me because they say I suck at singing but I don't care. I'll sing anyways. Last summer I was singing "In My Head" by Jason Derulo while playing games (no homo). (By the way, in real life Jason Derulo sings as good as me.) It just made everything funnier. Especially on Search and Destroy and the whole lobby would either mute me, leave the game, or cuss me out. Without music, games would be less enjoyable.
